Katsuyama Sake Brewery has been a leading sake brewer in Sendai for more than 320 years, and is the only remaining brewery in Miyagi Prefecture to have been authorized by the Date family to serve as a model of sake brewery technology and to uphold the tradition of an authorized brewery.
Katsuyama’s sake, which is made exclusively from junmai sake and brewed in one tank per week, has a rich body and can be enjoyed in a variety of ways, including with a wide range of dishes.
