From May 15 to May 17, we proudly hosted the “SUSHI SUMMIT” event in Malaysia over three special days.
During the event, sushi chefs from a variety of restaurants gathered to present exclusive sushi creations prepared especially for this occasion. Guests enjoyed each restaurant’s unique style and flavors, along with engaging conversations and a lively atmosphere throughout the experience.
At TMI, we served a selection of sake and sake cocktails to complement the event.
The event was held in two sessions per day, allowing guests to fully enjoy the pairing of sushi and sake at a relaxed pace.
On the day of the event, we invited Okinawan bartender Satoshi Sugiura and brewer/distiller Akira Nakazato to Malaysia. They actively connected with local bartenders and restaurant professionals, reaffirming the growing interest in Japanese spirits and Japanese ingredients within the Malaysian market.
The event also created valuable opportunities for future collaborations and revealed new possibilities for expanding into international markets.
