This sparkling sake is made using champagne manufacturing methods,
and is characterized by its elegant, expansive flavor and fine, creamy bubbles.

-TASTE-
Maka is Houraisen’s flagship and very limited edition.
Sake rice Yumesansui 100% used and all rice are estate grown.
Carefully crafted and it has elegant fruitiness such as peach and apple.
Wonderful soft texture, flavour of steamed rice, and clean acidity.

Houraisen Junmai Daiginjo GIN / Aichi 愛知県 / 720ml

-TASTE-
Houraisen ‘Gin’ takes its name from the word Ginjo, and means slowly and gently crafted.
The nose on this Junmai Daiginjo sake is extremely fragrant and perfumed,
with a complex palate displaying notes of ripe white peach and a subtle creaminess.
The finish is silky, rich and long.
Serve it chilled and enjoy by itself or with light cheese or vegetable dishes.

-TASTE-
Aromatic and lively; freshly picked fruits. Well defined and good balance of umami and acidity because of the rice used.
Soft and subtle but well balanced character.
Aged in the bottle for one year before bringing out into the market. Exceptionally smooth and easy to drink.
One of the most sought sake this year and one of the best creation of Houraisen.

Houraisen Junmai Daiginjo KUU Nama Genshu / Aichi 愛知県 / 720ml

-TASTE-
The mellow aroma reminiscent of fruits and the rich taste that brings out the umami and sweetness of rice are retained,
and the finish is gentle and elegant even though it is raw sake.
It is a gorgeous and rich sake with both aroma and taste.
You can enjoy the umami for a long time with the freshness of the sweetness as it is.

-TASTE-
Bi (beauty) is one of Houraisen’s flagship sake’s. It is a very elegant style of Junmai Daiginjo.
It is tank matured for 10 months at 10 degrees in order to have a rounder and more mellow character.
It has a nose that indicates sweet fruits.
The palate shows a good balance between the gentle acidity and the sweet fruit flavours.

It is named after the Analects of Confucius “To see a friend (=TOMO) from far is a joy”.

The sake pressed during the winter is stored for 3 months in tanks.
It is bottled when the flavor is settled.
It has a light flavor and is great for drinking cold in the summer time.
