BREWERY NAME
Hachinohe Brewery: Brand name is “Mutsu Hassen”.

Our brewery was founded in 1775. The current 8th-generation owner, Shōzaburō, is dedicated to producing local sake in Aomori Prefecture, focusing on using locally grown rice and yeast. We use renowned water from the Kanisawa area of Hachinohe and strive to craft safe, delicious sake that meets modern demands for environmental care and health.

This sake features the signature Mutsu Hassen style—an elegant, juicy ginjo aroma that gently unfolds, followed by a rich, full-bodied flavor that resonates throughout. Brewed with “Hanaomoi,” a sake rice developed over 15 years in Aomori, and polished to 50%, it is crafted as a refined junmai daiginjo.
