The extremely rare variety of tea Marishi, named after Marishiten, the guardian deity of Buddhism, was registered in 1996.
Because of this, it was called “Rare Variety tea”.
Currently, the amount is still very small, but it has been revived by local volunteers, and it is a popular ultra-luxury tea with a gentle taste with little astringency and a rich umami.

Anyone can easily enjoy the tea brewed by the special manufacturing method for each tea leaf by tilting the bottle.
